Weed Rabbitry Entered A Total of 4 Rabbits Staggered Among All 5 Shows
Father and daughter Fawns took BOB 3 out of 5 shows. This is the second time Poops has put her Dad out of commission at a show, her previous one was state convention at 12 weeks so Eats is now retired with 6 legs. She beat him on bone, transition over the topline and ear thickness.
She has only beaten her mother once so...who knows?

Show D- Randy Schumaker/Lana Mellentine
Lilac Junior Doe- #FFWB4- First Place
She is just such a very elegant appearing animal with her contrasting dark smooth face and lighter fuzzy lilac body.
REW Junior Buck- DQ wool on feet. He is a terrific little fuzz ball. Almost impossible to find his skin. And he has a wonderful personality to boot.
Think I am going to be very happy with these two bunns.

Other Stuff This Weekend

Weed's Zuiker
Got a BOV, no leg, cause she was the only white,
and I scratched her in the remaining shows. I don't know what she did in the car, but she was one filthy and incredibly wet rabbit by the time we hit Crescent City.

Poopsalot 2
Well, what can I say? Best laid plans and all that. At Grants Pass the judges were complaining that she wouldn't run the table, just sat, so I took her home, set up a table and we have been practicing. And now at Crescent City, 3 out of 5 shows, she actually roared out of the coop and down the table at 60 mph. Total spaz attack.
Back to the drawing board.

Light Gray Flemish  Jr. Buck
sold w/o pedigree to
Amie La Banca
Arcata, Ca.
I'm not particularly interested in having a light gray line so
Thank you Annie!!!

3B's Dexterity
senior white doe
registered by Allen Mesick
At 4 1/2 years old she weighs 17.12 lbs.
The weighing was done by Allen, not me. ( I add that disclaimer simply because too many people have been accusing me of lying about rabbit weights on my webpage. Whatever. And because she was not one of my breedings, people emailing for her registration number will have to wait until I receive the final paperwork back from ARBA.)

Weed's Peesalot
Sold without pedigree but with her BOV blue ribbon after  show B to Susan Joseph, Castro Valley
Thank you Susan and Michelle. I was sorry to see her go. She was really a terrifically sweet rabbit.

Weed's Split the Aces
Senior Fawn Buck
Sue brought him back for me to take home.  Aces is out of my older fawn line, with none of the fawn from the last two years added in. So he does not have the length and overall size of my latest fawns, but he has the better head and type.  I had already given the rest of his line to Ashleigh Johnson, keeping only his brother, who I had to destroy after Convention last year due to illness, so I am terrifically pleased to have this one back. Thank you, Sue for taking such good care of him.

Angoras
Thank  you Dawn and Armyne for my new bunnies, showing me how to groom them, getting them all blown out for show and the show table shake and all your help. Obviously, Myrtle Point will be a permanent show for us. Looking forward to lots of warm sweaters in Weed blizzards. And yes, I promise to save all that money in the bank from the belly fur. :)

Next Show

Don't know.
When the 6/8 fawns are seniors and the junior whites are 6/8s and the baby fawns are bigger.
There is no useful purpose to attend a show in the meantime.
